Baltimore City is its own city. It is not part of Baltimore County, even though the county wraps around it on three sides.

Baltimore County is our home base. It wraps around Baltimore City on the north, east, and west, and its county seat is Towson.

Anne Arundel County
Anne Arundel County has a long shore on the Chesapeake Bay, plus many rivers and creeks. Its county seat is Annapolis. Annapolis is also the capital of Maryland.

Howard County
Howard County sits between Baltimore and Washington. Its county seat is Ellicott City, and its largest community is Columbia.

Harford County
Harford County lies northeast of Baltimore County, between the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay. Its county seat is Bel Air.

Carroll County
Carroll County sits northwest of Baltimore County, along the Pennsylvania line. Its county seat is Westminster.
